Welcome to Nike South 2025, hosted at a NEW LOCATION at the Dale Watts Cross Country Course in College Station, Texas! We are extremely excited to bring you a storied event now on an NCAA-level cross country course! We have searched for and found what we know is a venue that can take Nike South into the future as the event continues to grow. Nike South will continue to be the preview event for Nike Cross Regionals- South. With that, we are modeling this event like Nike Cross Regionals- South in that we are only racing 5k’s- Varsity Elite, Varsity and JV divisions only.

$250/gender/school- regardless of the number of divisions entered.

Elite divisions: 7/gender/school

Varsity divisions: 10/gender/school

JV divisions: unlimited

Awards: There is no awards ceremony. All awards must be picked up by a coach, and signed for, once the results have been finalized, printed and are at the awards tent (registration tent).

Top 2 teams in each division

Individual awards: Elite- top 25, all other divisions- top 15

Athletes drop off/pick up/spectator parking:

An online parking link will be posted on our event website for Thursday and Friday parking. There are two locations to park, Hildebrand Equine Complex (Lot 126) and Fan Field Parking lot. Once Hildebrand is sold out only Fan Field will be available. Offsite parking has transit buses to move spectators to and from the xc course and parking area. *Team school buses will not have to pay for parking- your parking area, weather-permitting, is a grass field on site.

Thursday the course will be open from 2pm - 4pm only for course preview and packet pick up. This is a strict window of time- do not arrive before 2pm, or after 4pm. Team buses can park at Hildebrand Equine Complex in their paved parking lot (teams do not have to pay for parking for school buses).

Friday Team parking: will have designated parking at Hildebrand Equine Complex on race day. Security personnel will direct the school buses onto the grass fields being used. **IF weather prevents using those grass fields for parking- teams can be dropped off and the buses will park off-site at Fan Field Parking lot. That driver will need to ride the transit buses back to the XC course.

Spectator parking will be paid for via parking links for either Hildebrand Equine Complex (lot 126) or Fan Field Parking Lot (if you park at Fan Field parking lot, the transit buses will shuttle you to Watts XC course and back). Those links will be on our event website and be sent to each school. First come, first served on those spots.

Packet pick up/Participation waiver: ALL teams must produce the participation waiver for each individual BEFORE receiving their packets. Please alphabetize those, paper-clip them with your school name on a header page. TAMU requires these waivers to be filled in by each participant and I must present these to TAMU if audited.

Coach/athlete supervision: Part of TAMU requirements are acceptable coach to athlete ratios for the proper supervision of the high school athletes while on TAMU campus. That ratio is 2 coaches per 10 athletes. Coaches, if your team is a size that extends beyond your staff for this ratio please speak to any parents that can fill that ‘chaperone’ role while at Nike South XC Invitational.

Safety: At no time should any coach or athlete enter any of the Hildebrand Equine Complex buildings. Our event is at Watts XC course only. All individuals should never approach any of the corrals or arena’s where horses are present. Any individuals seen in these areas will be escorted to their teams and disqualified from Nike South XC Invitational.
